Public Reference and Education Review: The Key of Term Paper ...

Writing is a skill. You will need a large amount of time to begin with if you have nothing in your mind. To get any needed knowledge and information for your writing, you will need to read the knowledge or information first. This reading activity itself may take forever if you do not understand how to read in the best speed and in the best understanding. You may search for any tips on fast reading technique. But still you will need time to read the article. The bad news is this technique is not a single night magic in some level. Searching the knowledge may be the best way around to find knowledge and information in certain thing. But typing too generic keyword will lead you into a large number of search results. And back again you will need the fast reading technique used. In some extend, reading the online information and knowledge through the monitor may not be a problem for you. But if this online research done in hours, you may have health problem sooner or later. The dry eyed syndrome may influence your vision quality. The back bone problem may also appear if the sitting position is not perfectly well adjusted. ?Printing the online material may help you reduce the dry eyes syndrome, but it will cost you more financially.

Appreciating writing as a skill may let you to set yourself on hours of knowledge collecting, knowledge classifying and the writing itself. ?It will be a laborious work for you who nothing to begin with. Even writing a term paper will never be as easy as it seem. ?If you never skip the class and have a well organize note, at least 25 percent of the work is in your hand. By regularly attending the class, you will understand well enough how the standard of the teacher is. If your teacher is the easy going type, writing any casual stuff for your term paper will never be a big problem. But if your teacher is the perfectionist type, writing casually for the term paper will set you into a big F as the result. Having the perfectionist teacher type will take the limit of the term paper quality higher. To get a B or an A, you have to find something juicy within your term paper. And this is the tricky stuff. The better the idea is the more time that is needed. If the deadline is short, write a juicy term paper will never be an easy task. Letting the professional term paper service giving the touch on your term paper will ensure you to have better rewriting ahead.

Japan urges cuts in power usage

Japan has urged businesses and households in parts of the country to cut electricity use by up to 15% to avoid possible blackouts.

The country is facing power shortages this summer because its 50 nuclear reactors have been taken offline.

Public confidence in nuclear safety was shaken by the meltdowns at the Fukushima power plant, triggered by last year's earthquake and tsunami.

The call for electricity reduction will take effect from July to September.

This time around the move to save power is not mandatory, unlike cuts imposed in the eastern parts of the country last summer after the nuclear crisis.

'Appeal'

It is in the heavily industrialised area of western Japan, served by Kansai Electric Power, that customers have been asked to cut electricity usage by 15%.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Osamu Fujimura, after a government meeting discussing power shortages, said that there was a "need to widely instigate power-saving measures" due to the shutdown of nuclear facilities.

"The government will try hard to figure out how to implement the measures decided today so that the power savings will affect the economy and people's livelihood as little as possible," he said.

"But I would like to repeat here our appeal to the nation to save power this summer."

Japan's last nuclear reactor went offline for routine maintenance two weeks ago and none have been switched back on so far.

The government has been reluctant to order restarts of the nuclear plants against the public's wishes, even as the scarcer and more expensive electricity could have a severe effect on Japan's economy, reports the BBC's Roland Buerk.

Surveys show that almost all big businesses expect their earnings to be affected, with some preparing to move more manufacturing abroad.

Before the Fukushima meltdowns, nuclear energy powered up to 30% of the country's electricity.

Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda said on Thursday that he would decide soon on the restarting of two idle nuclear reactors at Kansai Electric's Ohi nuclear plant.

Activate Virgin Mobile's Optimus Elite and receive a $25 Google Wallet credit

LG Optimus Elite

After three short days on the shelf, Virgin Mobile's LG Optimus Elite is already up for a promotion: Google will credit your Google Wallet account with $25 when you activate the NFC-service within 7 days of activating your Elite. LG's Gingerbread-powered Optimus Elite is the prepaid carrier's first NFC-capable device, and Virgin isn't wasting any time putting the service to good use. The offer is good on any of Virgin's Beyond Talk plans, and will run from now through July 18, though there is a bit of fine print: your account will be credited with $10 within the first three days, with the remaining $15 eventually added within the following three weeks. Regardless, for $150 without a contract, the Elite is already a pretty sweet deal, and with another $25 thrown in for good measure, we're tempted to say adios to contracts forever.

'Idol' reveals its 2 finalists after shocking cut

By Craig Berman, TODAY.com contributor

Michael Becker / FOX

Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez are the finalists of season 11 of "American Idol"

The judges are going to have to find themselves a new favorite to promote in the ?American Idol? finale.

Joshua Ledet, who set the unofficial record for Most Standing Ovations From the Judges with his consistently big performances this season, was voted off the show on Thursday. He finished in third place, while Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez move on to compete for the title next week.

If he likes, Joshua can blame mentor Jimmy Iovine, who said that in hindsight, he wished he?d picked something that offered more of a melody than Mary J. Blige's "No More Drama" for the teenager to perform Wednesday. He also regretted his pick for Jessica, thus shattering the ?Idol? record of self-critical comments in one night. (He?ll need a remedial course of ?Idol 201: The Art of Never Admitting Mistakes? if he wants to come back next season.) And they were more than empty words -- Jimmy seemed genuinely upset with himself when the results were announced, perhaps wondering if a better pick on his part would have been a game-changer.

Joshua could also blame a backlash or overconfidence stemming from the judges? fervent support of him over the past month, though that sure hadn?t hurt him over the previous few weeks. But really, he can probably blame his growling most of all. In a final three as close as this one appears to be, any little mistake hurts, and his over-the-top crashing about the stage on his final song didn?t do much to win the tender loving care of the audience. When in doubt, he tends to shout, and ultimately, it looks like the viewers plugged up their ears instead of picking up the phones for him.

That sets up the Phillip-Jessica finale, or Dave Matthews 2.0 vs. The Oldest-Sounding Teenager in America. But the big question next week won?t just concern who?s going to win. We'll also find out whether Ford will give Phillip a car like it normally does for the two finalists, despite the fact that he?s been absent from the video shoots. Is he secretly in league with the Japanese auto companies? And what are they going to do for that Ford video shoot next week? Have Jessica sing by herself? (Remember: Phillip has a doctor's note to skip filming those!)

Joshua can also take solace in the fact that he wasn?t the worst performer to take the stage this week. That would go to a lip-synching Lisa Marie Presley, who dragged herself onto the ?Idol? stage for the first time. She was part of a gothic set that had her both looking and sounding like something undead. Somewhere up there, Elvis is probably shaking his head and wondering whether she?s studied tapes of him performing. He?s also probably thinking that if he were alive, he?d make one heck of an ?Idol? judge.

But for now, it's the viewers who have spoken, and it?ll be a former pawn-shop worker or a California teenager who gets the confetti and the million-dollar deal on Wednesday.

Are you surprised that Joshua was cut? Share your thoughts on our Facebook page!?Plus, join writer Craig Berman at 12:30 PT/3:30 ET on finale day, May 23, to chat about the final performances and who you think will win.?Sign up for a reminder!

Comcast Kills Its 250GB Data Cap, Is Testing More Flexible Data Plans

comcast towerComcast announced today that it is doing away with its 250 GB data cap, and will be moving to test out new plans will charge customers based on usage, rather than cutting them off. Since 2008, Comcast has had a data usage cap of 250GB for all its broadband plans. At that time, the cap was mainly meant to deter users from abusing the network, largely by downloading or distributing pirated video files. But times have changed, streaming media is now a thing, and services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, and TV Everywhere services like Xfinity TV and HBO Go are using up massive amounts of data for some customers.

HBT: Reds' Baker denied entry into Yankee Stadium

Dusty Baker didn?t know the secret handshake needed to get into Yankee Stadium. Fortunately, someone came along who recognized him.

?It?s hard to get in this bad boy,? Baker said Friday before his Reds took on the Yankees. ?Some guy asked me today, `Could I help you?? I was in the front, trying to get in. I said, `Yeah. I?m here for the game.? He goes, `The gates aren?t open yet.??

?I said, `OK, man. I?m the manager,?? Baker explained.

?Of what??

?The baseball team.?

?Yeah, what?s your name??

?Dusty Baker.?

Nope, try again.

?He didn?t know,? Baker said. ?I didn?t wait long. Another guy came over. He recognized me. And this other guy apologized. He said, `I?m sorry, man. He didn?t know.??

Baker took the slight delay in stride and entered the park. As for whether all of his players are accounted for, that?s still unclear. Earlier this week, with the Reds taking on the Mets, one of the team?s players, whose identity Baker was unwilling to reveal, ended up taking a cab to Yankee Stadium, instead of Citi Field, prior to a game.

Green cabinets - Green Cabinets -- Environmentally Friendly Furniture

Green cabinets More Details about Green cabinets here.

You may have heard of a recent phenomenon called ?green cabinets', or even ?green kitchens'. Much like an actor's green room, this has nothing to do with colour -- green simply refers to the fact that these cabinets are good for the environment. So what makes a green cabinet, and why are more people using them in their homes? For starters, green cabinets are fashioned from renewable materials, which can be easily replenished once they are used. Bamboo, for example, is an increasingly popular base material for kitchen furnishings, and cabinets in particular. Bamboo is actually a grass, not a tree, which means that it can easily be regrown in a relatively short space of time. Rather than cutting down the entire plant, harvesters use only the bamboo stalks, leaving the bulb in the earth to regrow over a period of three years or so. This means that bamboo supplies are not as easily exhausted as trees, which can take decades to reach maturity and only minutes to cut down. It also means that bamboo is less expensive than many other types of wood. But don't be fooled into thinking that bamboo is a weak material simply because it isn't traditional hard wood. This pliant grass is actually stronger than oak and just as durable. Besides the materials they are made from, ?green' cabinets are also treated with finishing processes (such as veneers and top coats) that are not harmful to the environment. Many cabinets require an adhesive to fit them together and are also treated with a veneer finish to help them last as long as possible. Kitchen cabinet makers and suppliers are starting to conform to certain standards regarding the materials they use to treat the raw wood. CARB compliant plywoods, for example, cut down harmful VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) such as the formaldehyde used in hard wood plywood adhesives. Water based glues and top coats can also help, as harmful air pollutants are found in paint and stain as well as adhesives. The quality is just as high as traditional top coats, in fact, water based coats generally retain paint better and offer a harder finish than finishers containing VOCs. So where can you find ?green' cabinets? While certain suppliers specialise in green cabinets and offer a wide range of styles and sizes, their increasing popularity means they can easily be found in many online stores. Some suppliers offer green solutions for entire rooms as well as single items of furniture, so you can have a kitchen that looks great and is environmentally friendly too!

Crayola Petition: Marin County Children Ask Crayon Company To Be More 'Green'

div>

This article comes to us courtesy of SF Weekly's The Snitch.

By Erin Sherbert

The kids over at Sun Valley School in San Rafael are lamenting the fact that the Crayola markers they use to draw, write, and color, are pretty ... pretty polluting.

And because the students are sick of seeing so much wasted plastic, they started a petition on Change.org asking the company to give consumers a convenient way to recycle the millions of Crayola markers manufactured every year. As the kids astutely note, currently there's no method to recycle the nearly half a billion markers made every year, which is they they are explicitly asking Crayola to create a "take-back" program, giving consumers a safe way to recycle markers.

Here's what the students had to say to Crayola executives:

We are looking for your leadership to empower kids to be "green." Will you take the lead and show the world that you care about keeping plastics out of landfills, incinerators and oceans? When plastics are sent to landfill, or burned for electricity, or washed into oceans, they pollute Earth.

It seems the kids are really onto something, because already 45,000 people have signed onto their petition. And 10-year-old Dante was one of them. "I want to let you know that I am not a useless little kid. I can make a difference! By telling you to recycle your pens," Dante said.

We wish them luck in embarking on this environmental feat.

By the way, no markers were used in the making of this petition.

Where'd the volcanic ash go? We're finding out

The huge eruption of Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano in spring 2010 spewed fine aerosol particles, sulfur-rich gases and ash, causing massive air travel disruptions across Europe. Researchers studying those emissions are now shedding light on how and where that ash traveled.

"The huge economic impact of this event shows the need to describe with precision how a volcanic plume spreads through the atmosphere," Arantxa Revuelta, a researcher at the Spanish Research Center for Energy, Environment and Technology, said in a statement.

Revuelta and other scientists used satellites, laser detectors, sun photometers and other instruments to study the ash and aerosols (a term for small particles suspended in the air) as Eyjafjallajokull was erupting.

They found that different types of particles spread over different regions at different times. For example, they found very fine sulfur-rich particles over Spain and Portugal in May 2010, toward the end of the eruption. Alternatively, ash particles that reached central Europe in April were more than 20 times larger than those fine particles.

Ash, which is composed of the thicker particles, can cause severe damage to airplane engines. Fine particles, like those found over the Iberian Peninsula, are more dangerous to people on the ground because the particles are small enough to enter respiratory and circulation systems.

Together, the observations will help scientists develop and test models that predict where ash and other particles will travel after an eruption.

"During the management of the crisis it became evident that there are still no precise models that provide real-time data for delimiting an affected airspace, for example," said Carlos Toledano of the University of Valladolid, who led one of the studies.

One team is developing a model known as Fall3d, which is especially important for air travel because it predicts the concentrations of aerosol particles on the ground and in the air at different times after an eruption. Toledano and other researchers hope that fine-tuning this model will help airlines and transportation authorities make decisions in future eruptions.

The researchers' findings were published March 30 in the journal Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, and in the March issue of the journal Atmospheric Environment.
